A vibrant group of volunteers keep the wheels of JAGC rolling. Help JAGC support the Gifted and Talented community and enjoy some cameraderie while learning more about advocating for Gifted and Talented students. Please join us!
Several committees are in place and accepting volunteers--
PARENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM - JAGC works in positive partnership with the Jeffco School District's Gifted & Talented (GT) Department to provide leadership by promoting information about the educational and social-emotional needs of gifted and talented students. The JAGC Ambassador Program extends this leadership from the district level into individual school buildings. JAGC Ambassadors are parent volunteers who receive training in how serve GT students, parents, and staff at the articulation area and school building levels. GT Ambassadors can serve other communities as well, such as preschools, private schools and homeschooling groups. Email

EVENTS - Help us with publicity and preparations for seminars and other activities.
FUNDRAISING - JAGC operates on a shoestring budget, but we still need to raise money - Book Fairs, donations and corporate requests.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS (and Administrative Support) - Consider becoming a Board member or assist the Treasurer or Secretary in board tasks. The Board's diverse responsibilities cover a wide array of topics from involving collaboration with the Jeffco GT Department & district leadership as well as state & national arenas.
