Wow! TEDTalk
If you don’t know about TEDTalks, you’ve been missing out!
TED is a small nonprofit devoted to “Ideas Worth Spreading”. It started out in 1984 as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design (TED). On TED.com, they’ve made the best talks and performances from TED and partners available to the world, for free. More than 450 TEDTalks are now available, with more added each week. All of the talks feature closed captions in English, and many feature subtitles in various languages. These videos are released under a Creative Commons license, so they can be freely shared and reposted. Awesome!
The following is an excellent TEDTalk to start out with: “This SixthSense demo -- from Pattie Maes' lab at MIT, spearheaded by Pranav Mistry -- was the buzz of TED. It's a wearable device with a projector that paves the way for profound interaction with our environment. Imagine "Minority Report" and then some.” SixthSense enables new interactions between the real world and the world of data. Watch, learn more and be amazed -- Enjoy! SixthSense Demo
