Susan Miller Inaugurated

    Vicki Ray Passes the Torch

    At the Annual Member Meeting in May 2011, President Elect Susan Miller received the Ancient JAGC Notebook from outgoing president Vicki Ray.

    Her appointment was greeted by wild applause and enthusiastic congratulations, and reported widely on Facebook and Twitter. In her acceptance speech, Ms Miller pledged uphold the values and continue the effectiveness of her predecessor. Ms Miller has four children in Jeffco schools over a wide range of grades.

    Ms Ray's congratulatory words brought an emotional response from the assembled crowd. Ms Ray, in taking over the position of Board Secretary, will be in a position to provide valuable counsel to the president and ensure a seamless transition.
