ABC Kids Climbing (Ages 5-18) - Indoor and outdoor summer climbing camps.

Alexa Cafe tech for girls (Ages 10-15) - Inspired by iD Tech co-founder Alexa Ingram-Cauchi, our all-girls program blends tech, entrepreneurship, and social impact in a fresh, café-like setting. Big ideas come to life amidst moon chairs and stylish decor. Whether you want to code an app for charity, design a mobile game, or discover AI, you'll collaborate with new friends and create a project you're passionate about. Camps are held at the University of Denver.

Arapahoe Community College (Grades 3-12) - 
Camps offer opportunities for students to develop practical skills, enrich their knowledge and expand their minds through solid curriculum and engaging activities in a college environment. Students will discover skills to manage everyday life at school, in the community and at home. Programs include coding, cooking, technology, art, sports, study skills, test prep and more. 

Architecture in the City (High school) - University of Colorado Denver College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) offers a summer interdisciplinary program to give participants the opportunity for a hands on experience in model building and drawing techniques while exposing them to architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, and urban planning.

Art Garage (Ages 3-12) - The Art Garage offers high-quality art education classes, workshops and summer classes taught by local practicing artists for kids, teens and adults.  Students are able to explore creative art materials, learn and demonstrate art techniques and design original artwork. Students learn fundamental art elements, art vocabulary, artistic styles, famous artists and more.

Arts Hub (Grades K-12) - From art and dance to computer programming, we offer opportunities for kids to have fun and learn. Programs include arts, theater, entrepreneurs, fairy camp, canvas & painting, clay, bugs & nature art camp, sky’s the limit, slumber party art camp, coding with Kids, incrediflix camps, Playwell Tek, dance and more.
 
ArtSpark (Ages 3-15) - Art, photography, fashion design, painting, drawing, mixed media, fiber art, architecture, sewing and adult/child playgroups for ages 1-6. Kids will problem-solve, use critical thinking skills, collaborate, experiment, invent, and be exposed to new artists, materials, and processes for inspiration. 

Art Students League of Denver (Ages 6-17) - Each of our KidART Camps and Summer Teen Workshops emphasize the fundamental elements and essential vocabulary of art, encouraging students to explore and communicate as they create. In addition to gaining skills in a variety of media, including paint, clay, wire, fiber, and so much more, each student will explore ideas that open the doors to creativity, guided by our professional art educators.
 
Arvada Center (Ages 3-18) - This summer, the Arvada Center will offer camps in dance, drama, digital arts, music and visual arts. Most camps run just one week, while some last as long as a month.

Athena Project Programs for Girls (Grades 6-10) - Girls Create is a mentoring program for playwriting, dance and visual arts too. The program teaches girls (going into 6th grade through 10th grade) various aspects of these performing art forms in a unique way--we prioritize on bringing in professionals from the community to teach the program, guest artists to share their expertise and utilize mentors also from the community to provide guidance to the girls and encourage their own creations. Each week long program culminates in a final project for the week where we invite the community, including friends and family of the girls, to see their work."

Avid4Adventure (Grades PreK-11) - You don’t live in Colorado so your kids can spend the summer staring at their screens. Finding the time or feeling comfortable getting them out kayaking and rock climbing isn’t always easy. We operate Colorado’s premier adventure summer camps, launching kids into a lifetime of empowering outdoor adventure.

Bird Conservatory of the Rockies (Ages 4-17) - All camps are about getting kids outside to have fun and explore nature while making friends, developing leadership skills and gaining insights into their relationships with themselves, others and the world around them. Camp content and activities are designed in a progression to introduce young children to the outdoors and build their skills over time. Day and overnight camps and teen leadership program. 

Boulder Children's Chorale (Grades 2-8) - Come sing with us this summer! All abilities are welcome and no prior experience is required! Participants will be grouped by age and receive instruction in choral singing, music literacy and performance skills in a fun, engaging learning environment. Games, community building activities and a culminating performance are included.

Bluff Lake Nature Center (Ages 6-15) - Bluff Lake Nature Center is a nonprofit agency that owns and manages a unique urban wildlife refuge and outdoor classroom in northeast Denver, near Central Park. The refuge is home to an abundance of animals and native plants, which thrive in a variety of habitats.  

Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art (Ages 5-12) - Campers create art that is thematically connected to the summer exhibition . These camps encourage personal expression, fine art techniques, material exploration, and most importantly are fun.

Boulder Rock Club (Ages 6-17) - Climbing camps challenge both the beginner and the experienced climber with indoor and outdoor climbing, rock climbing and slack-climbing, girls camp and teen camps.  Campers learn and practice Leave No Trace Principles and have opportunities to set individual goals, work as a team, and develop leadership skills.
 

Bricks4Kidz (Ages 5-13) - Each unit teaches an aspect of science, techonolgy, engineering and/or math. Students work in a lab-type setting using LEGOS® with an integrated curriculum based on math and science. Instructional content includes concepts of friction, gravity and torque, scale, gears, axles and beams. The material covered each session will vary depending on students’ ages, experience, and skill level.

Butterfly Pavilion (Ages 4-18) - Camps are designed to provide memorable experiences that connect kids to nature and encourage an appreciation for science. Hands-on activities that are engaging, informative, appeal to a variety of interests and abilities.

Camp Gratitude ( Ages 5-15) - Camp Gratitude is about gratitude and inner exploration of everything from mindfulness, Yoga movements, and relaxation activities. We also include art, storytelling, journaling and more. We spend our time equally in the yoga studio room and outdoor times for games, free time and tons of fun.

Camp Kind (Ages 5-15 ) - A unique day camp experience that offers children the opportunity to spend a week (or more) during their long summer vacation giving back to the community by engaging in diverse and exciting volunteering projects at Denver area nonprofits.

Camp Invention (Grades K-12) - Inspires girls and boys to think BIG and imagine how they can change the world for the better one day! This one-of-a-kind weeklong experience connects science, technology, engineering and math through fun hands-on activities. The program allows students to learn about creative problem solving (and so much more!) in teams grouped by age.  There is also a Counselor-in-Training program for middle school, high school and internships for college students. 

Camp Oonie Koonie Cha (Ages 5-9) - Music camp that integrates drama, storytelling, a xylophone orchestra, science and movement. Music will transport the children around the world. Our young travelers will return home with their own handmade instruments to play along with their complimentary CD. 

Carson Nature Center (Ages 4-18) - South Platte Park in Littleton offers programs guided by interpretive naturalists for a variety of ages and interests. Join us for campfire programs, moonlight walks, school break camps, adult education, and high school camp leader program.
 
Catchpenny Theater (Ages 4-13) - Lil’ Pennies camps are designed to introduce kids, ages 4-7, to the fun of acting by giving them hands on experience. Catchpenny camps are designed to do the same for ages 8-13. Your child will learn how to interact with a director, and other actors on stage in a low pressure environment. For older kids, campers will get intensive training in acting, singing, and dancing; no experience is required. 

Center for Bright Kids (Ages 8-17) - Residential summer programs for high-ability, high interest students offering a wide variety of subjects. Classes are held at the University of Colorado in Boulder. 
 
Chess Academy of Denver (Ages 6-18) - Participants will be divided into similar ability groups (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and age groups for sessions focusing on all aspects of the game including scorekeeping and chess etiquette. Students will compete in mini tournaments for trophies and as well as play in a simultaneous exhibition against an instructor.

Children's Learning Adventure (Ages 5-12) - 
Children's Learning Adventure introduces an exciting adventure based on current trends while implementing STEAM activities and weekly field trips to sharpen campers' academic skills and be ready for the upcoming school year. 

Cleverlike (Ages 8-17) - Technology summer camps in Parker and Highlands Ranch. Cleverlike is dedicated to creating rich technology experiences and education for your young engineer. Summer camp programs are designed to give curious minds exposure, guidance and experience on multiple types of technology.

CodeSpire (Ages 8-16) - If you’re ready to accelerate your child’s computer coding literacy, check CodeSpire’s full offering of after-school, weekend, and summer coding camps and coursework. We believe learning computer coding cannot only be fun, but a worthwhile investment in your child’s future. Prepare them for the science and coding jobs of the future through robotics, games, apps and more.

Coding with Kids (Ages 5-18) - A place for coders to unleash their creativity and take the next step on the Coder's Ladder. Tech-savvy instructors will guide small groups of campers as they unleash their creativity to build games, interactive stories, websites, programmable circuits, and more. Campers will receive personalized instruction and collaborate with new friends. After camp, kids will be able to share projects with family and friends and continue development through online access.

Colorado Academy (Grades PreK-12) - Our camps have over 20 different programs per week and you don’t have to be a CA student to participate. Choose from a variety of activities that are fun, engaging, and challenging – both intellectually and physically. Our campus consists of 94 acres in southwest Denver. We transport kids to different attractions around Denver, so you can add variety to your child’s summer activities and let us do the driving. Before and after camp options and transportation are available.

Colorado Adventure Point (Ages 6-12) -
STEM Adventure Day Camp offers 5 days of dynamic adventure plus hands on experiments in the fields of chemistry, biology, geology and physics. To ensure that everything is fun and educational, our age appropriate lessons are designed by a national team of experts with the Boy Scouts of America.
 
Colorado Children’s Theater (Ages 6-16) - Locations in Denver, Evergreen, Central Park and Highlands Ranch. All of our camps are designed to educate, elevate, and uplift our students. Our goal is to help our students believe in themselves and their ability to achieve by learning the process of performing and by growing in fun, loving, and inspiring classes. Through technique, proper training, play, improvisation, and fun every student is given an opportunity to grow, to make friends, and to have their moment in the spotlight. Each camp ends with a showcase performance for family and friends.
 
Colorado Code Club (Ages 6-12) - Offers students an introduction into the world of coding. Aside from our highly successful after school programs, we also offer a wide range of summer camps that give even more students the opportunity to learn and grow with us while developing technical skills that are in high demand.

Colorado College summer literacy program (Grades K-8) - Reading readiness program for children entering kindergarten and first grade and support for middle school struggling readers to enhance their reading, writing, and self-advocacy skills using research-based methods. 

​Colorado Math Camp (Grades 3-10) - We do advanced math, and we practice for math competitions, but the structure of the camps is not competitive. It’s about having fun and learning! We do math problem sets, play logic games, play fun number games, have a break/recess each morning, and have fun. Locations in the Denver metro area (usually in SE Aurora),

Colorado Mountain Club (Grades 4-12) - Climb and explore the mountains with the CMC Youth Education Program! Specialized multi-day courses offer outdoor skill-building and adventure! We offer programs for a wide range of ages and all abilities.

Colorado Music Institute (Ages 6-17) - Sessions include Instrument Discovery Camp, Ukulele Camp, Beginners Guitar Camp, Music Theater Camp, Intermediate Guitar Camp, Singer/Songwriter Camp, and Rock Session Camp.  

Colorado School of Acting (Ages 9-16) - All campers get to participate in all aspects of the film, from concept to completion. They will all have speaking roles, and will serve as the writers, producers, and film crew, led by a professional filmmaker. We have lots of fun, making friends and hanging out at the park for breaks and meals. ​

Colorado School of Mines Academies for Young Minds (Grades K-7) - These camps encourage children to be innovative and use creative problem-solving by engaging them in fun, hands-on activities.  

Colorado School of Mines Engineering Design (High school) - These camps, designed for those entering 9th through 12th grade , provide exposure to real-world problem solving in a team environment and provide opportunities to learn design skills that are applicable to many fields of engineering. 

Colorado School of Mines SUMMET Summer Multicultural Engineering Training (Grades 11-12) - A science and engineering program for students who are from underrepresented populations, including ethnic minorities and women combining course work, hands-on projects, industry tours, sporting activities, and social events.  SUMMET is an excellent stepping stone to the lifestyle and challenges of college. Students from across the nation stay in Mines’ residence halls, experience life as a college student, and receive instruction in trigonometry & calculus, chemistry, geology, computer science, physics and basic to advanced engineering concepts. 

Colorado Shakespeare Festival (Ages 6-18) - CSF Education offers summer camps for kids and teens on the CU-Boulder campus to expand their understanding of Shakespeare through engagement and practice. Includes Shakespeare's Sprites, a playful introduction to the Bard for ages 6-9. Discover the fun of Shakespeare through pool-noodle fights, Elizabethan costumes, period insults, Renaissance songs and lively scene work. 
 
Colorado State University music programs (Ages 7-18) - The School of Music, Theatre and Dance offers a wide range of performing arts experiences including annual favorites and exciting new programs designed for secondary students, adults, and youth. 

Colorado State University summer programs (Ages 7-18) - 
Summer programs include credit-bearing, academic, and sport programs. Teachers may explore sustainable teaching and the benefits of  movement in the classroom. These programs are offered by many CSU departments and organizations hosting events at Colorado State University.

Colorado Suzuki Institute (Ages 0-18) - Master Class lessons, repertory groups, ensembles, and enrichment classes will be held for Suzuki Bass, Cello, Flute, Guitar, Piano, Viola, Violin and Voice students in Copper Mountain, CO.  We bring together over 400 students and faculty representing 10 countries from around the world for a week of musical experiences in the incomparable Rocky Mountains.

Colorado Vocal Institute (Grades 9-12) - CVI is a pre-college program specifically designed to nurture the development of high school singers. Students will have private voice lessons, vocal and dramatic coaching, classes in vocal pedagogy, diction, acting, improvisation, and more in Copper Mountain, CO. ​

Conscious Summer Explorers (Grades 1-7) - Campers will explore their inner and outer worlds, self-awareness, compassion, reflection, and appreciation for nature. They will journey through practices like breath-work, mindfulness, arts, journaling, crafting, nature and plant identification, games, and other creative avenues; gifting them with the ability to be in touch with their inherent spirit in any way that moves them. 6th & 7th graders are welcome as junior staffers.

Crow Canyon Archaeological Center (Ages 12-18) - Offers summer programs for teens (middle school and high school), including a nationally recognized field school for high school students.  Located in southwest Colorado, near Mesa Verde National Park, Crow Canyon Archaeological Center programs offer a rare opportunity for students to do hands-on archaeology at the pre-college level.

CU Denver LYNX Arts & Media Camps (Grades 9-12) - The LYNX National Arts and Media Camps are summer immersion programs for high school students interested in contemporary music, film, or visual arts. At the camps, students learn from CU Denver faculty, get a taste of college life, get mentored by current CU Denver students, and bond with other arts high school students from throughout the country. The camps are designed to be previews of our college programs. The camps take place on the CU Denver campus in downtown Denver.

Curious Jane Camp for Girls (Grades K-6) - Offers a variety of STEAM offerings in science, engineering and design for girls who like to make things.

Cyber Patriot (Grades 6-12) - At Red Rocks Community College. CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program. The camp is a weeklong event that is held at our Lakewood Campus. Partnering with Red Rocks’ IDEA lab, campers will also be introduced to robotics, machine learning, AI, and virtual reality.

Davidson Institute (Ages 13-16) - Davidson THINK Summer Institute is a three-week-residential program for exceptionally gifted students. Located on the University of Nevada, Reno, THINK offers students the opportunity to take two college courses taught by university faculty for college credit. 

Denver Audubon Society (Grades 1-5) - Explore the trails, ponds, rivers, and streams this summer at the Audubon Nature Center at Chatfield. Search for nests, investigate water critters, and construct your own beaver lodge – help us solve the mysteries of the natural world or become a warrior for wetlands.  Our summer camps at the Audubon Nature Center are offered in partnership with Colorado Academy. Denver Botanic Gardens (Ages 6-12) - 
The Gardens has camps for kids only that are full of garden explorations, games, activities, cooking and plants to take home. Week-­long day camps are offered during summer break. Camps take place at York Street and Chatfield Farms.
 
Denver Bouldering Club (Ages 5-18) - Offers beginners and experts a premium climbing experience at two Denver locations. The DBC features over 13,000 square feet of bouldering space and the community support that will energize your workout for improved fitness and more rewarding climbing. By introducing athletes to the climbing community at a young age, they foster the larger values our community holds dear: fun, improvement, and collaboration.

Denver Center for the Performing Arts (Grades PreK-12) - For eager students as young as 3 to high schoolers taking the first step toward a theatre career, our classes fuel creativity and reinforce the tools to help all skill levels improve and develop their craft. Through acting, improvisation, musical theatre, on-camera or audition technique, students build confidence and fuel imagination in their lives.

Denver Dumb Friends League (Grades 3-8) - Offers seasonal camps for kids and teens in support of DDFL's goal to teach children and young adults the importance of treating animals in a humane way, a lesson that will benefit them and the animals in our community for a lifetime. Camps are available at the shelters in Denver, Castle Rock as well as at the Harmony Equine Center in Franktown. 

Denver Film Society Young Filmmakers Workshop (Ages 12-18) - Developed for teens aged 12-18, the Denver Film Society’s Young Filmmakers Workshops (TFW) furnish their participants with opportunities to learn the art of cinema, collaborate with other young filmmakers, refine their work with industry professionals and exhibit their films in public premieres.

Denver Museum of Nature and Science (Ages 4-12) - A variety of camps in science, space, nature and art. Full-day and half-day options are available.
 
Denver Museum of Nature and Science (Grades 11-12) - Teen Science Scholars (TSS) internship provides high school students opportunities to work in the Archives, Anthropology, Earth Sciences, Health Sciences, Museum Conservation, Space Sciences, and Zoology departments at the Museum. Selected students will be involved with various aspects of their mentors’ research and/or collections programs.

Denver School of the Arts music camps Grades 6-12) - Camps for dance, theatre, vocal music, visual arts, jazz, percussion, horns, creative writing, piano/keyboard and stagecraft.
 
Denver Writes (Ages 8-12) - These camps are for kids who like to write. You don’t have to be good at writing, you certainly don’t have to get good grades in writing, and we accept all kinds of handwriting, but you have to LIKE TO WRITE. We publish a summer camp anthology that you help author. We want you to see new things, think new thoughts, and then write new stories to share with the world.

Denver Writing Project Young Writers Camp (Grades 2-12) - Do you love to write? Are you a budding poet, flourishing story writer, or even future famous author? Would you like to write in a relaxed, social atmosphere? If so, join us for Young Writers Camp at CU-Denver's scenic Auraria Campus! Spend a fun-filled week of your summer with other young writers exploring and developing your own creative writing abilities. Who knows whom you'll meet and what you'll write?
 
Denver Zoo (Grades PreK-8) - This summer, campers will puzzle out some of our planet’s most exciting challenges. How can we ensure each animal gets what it needs? How do you even begin tracking the nearly invisible and even unheard from? What role will YOU play once you’ve uncovered the secret connections that hold our world together? Campers connect with animals through Zoo exploration, up-close animal experiences, engineering challenges, nature play, and special camp-only Zoo opportunities.

DIGISTARS Online Movie Workshops (All ages) - Online curriculum, materials and programs cover pre-production, production, and post-production skills for quality digital storytelling. Separate campers into production groups and by the end of the week they will emerge with a finished short film or animation project, the knowledge of how to make movies on their own later, and fun memories of creating something from nothing.

Dinosaur Ridge (Ages 6-13) - Do you have a dinosaur or rock enthusiast at home? Would they like to explore over 300 dinosaur footprints and dozens of other fossils from Colorado this summer? Or would they rather identify, collect, and label rocks and minerals for their collections while learning how Colorado was built layer by layer? Learn about Colorado’s history and prehistory. 

Downtown Aquarium (Ages 6-18) - Discover the wonder and mystery of the underwater world and more through our camps, overnights and behind-the-scenes tours. Programs include aquatic encounters, diving, marine biology and zoology.

Dream Big Day Camp (Grades PreK-8 ) - Our camp offers arts, cooking, sports adventure, science, performing arts and more. We provide 1 staff member to every 6 campers at every age group. We hire mature college aged staff (and older) to maintain proper support and attention for our campers so EVERY child feels included and valued. Our secret sauce lies in our ongoing staff training, evaluation process and goal setting.

Engineering for Kids (Ages 7-12) - Each summer camp offers hands-on learning, activity-based lessons, and plenty of fun tech gadgets. Choose from programming camps, technology (or tech) camps, robotics camps and engineering camps.

Evergreen Children's Chorale (Grades 2-8 ) - 
Inspire and engage young performers through quality experiences that create community and nurture a love of the arts. Two groups make up the Evergreen Children’s Chorale, a Colorado youth choir and musical theater performance organization. ECC Company is comprised of up to 50 children in grades 5-8. Our younger group, Prelude, is comprised of up to 40 children in grades 2-4.

Exl Learning for Students With Dyslexia (Grades K-6) - Summer learning adventures include academic boosters for all kids, make-believe, science, technology, language arts, chess, engineering, writing, marine biology, Minecraft and more. 

Experiential Learning Associates (Grades 5-12) -  Colorado programs to connect people to the wonders and workings of the natural world while developing community, scientific knowledge and an environmental stewardship ethic. We are a community-based group of educators who believe that the best teacher is experience followed by reflection and group discussion. Programs in history, field science, environment, outdoor adventures and stewardship of land and animals.

Foothills Art Center (Ages 4-12) - Offers seven weeks of visual arts programming for ages 4-6 and 7-12. Guided by professional artists and arts educators, camps integrate visual arts activities with science, technology and mathematics. Our programs are designed with the Denver Public Schools Curriculum Standards in mind to provide a powerful supplement to your child’s education during the summer months. 

​Fusion Academy (Grades 6-12) - Fusion offers traditional core classes taught in a non-traditional way: one-to-one and personalized. Electives include art, music, tech, and yoga for students to stay engaged and explore new creative passions.

Girls, Inc. Eureka! (Grades 7-12 ) - An intensive, five-year STEM-based program that builds girls’ confidence and skills through hands-on opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Utilizing a “whole girl” approach, the program also incorporates sports and physical fitness, personal development, and college and career readiness.

Global Sound Music Academy (Ages 10-18) - Rock band summer camp band members are placed together by age and skill level.
with a maximum of six band members per band including 1 singer, 2 guitar players, 1 bass player, 1 drummer and 1 keyboard player. Learn two songs by your favorite band and write 1 original song​. Friday is recording day in our state of the art studio with our sound engineer. Take home a CD with your band picture on it. Saturday is Concert Day in our performance room. Friends and family are invited to attend the concert.

Gold Crown Enrichment (Ages 10-18) - Offers art and technology camps along with athletic camps. This year featured camps include social media, drones and murals. The organization operates with a mission to provide opportunities and educate youth and community through sports and enrichment programs. 

Golden History Museum (Ages 6-12) - Hands-on history is a weeklong summer day camp that gets kids excited about local history. Offers several half and full day programs. ​​

NotejHarry Potter Summer Camp (Ages 6-15) - Make your own wand, flying keys, a magical crystal ball. Create potions and bubbling concoctions. Create polyjuice potion slime, drink butterbeer and DIY Harry Potter treats. Magical spells, daily duels, House competitions, hilarious games, jelly bean challenge…a trip to Honeydukes Candy Shop. Junior Counselor program for ages 13-15 who would like to get experience working with kids in a camp environment. Junior counselors work under the leadership of a head counselor and learn the skills needed to work with children and lead effectively.

iDTech (Ages 7-19) - Summer tech camps held at the University of Denver, CSU Fort Collins, CU Boulder, and others. Courses in programming, Minecraft, game design, robotics, and more including all girls programs.

International School of Denver (Ages 3-14) - Camps are offered in English, French, Chinese, and Spanish, including options like Camp Invention, Movie Making, Hula Hooping and Circus Arts, STEM Challenge, Seed Science, and more. 

Jeffco 4-H ENOR Environmental Discovery Camp (Grades 3-6) - A nationally recognized, award-winning 4-H program that has offered quality environmental education and experiences since 1974. The program offers students entering 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade an opportunity to explore Colorado's natural and cultural history. 

Jeffco SPARKS (Ages 4-14) - SPARKS is a two-week gifted and talented summer enrichment where children from 4-14 years of age choose from various creative classes being offered. Children can take from one to four classes that are taught daily for two weeks. The last day is a half-day Share Fair where parents can see what their children have been working on in class. There is also an opportunity for high school students to volunteer their time helping in classrooms. Jewish Community Center (Grades K-12) - Day, residential, theater and speciality camps with a variety of offerings open to all. JCC has a special inclusion policy for special needs children.

Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (Grades 2-12) - Residential summer programs around the country in all areas of interest. CTY's gifted and talented summer programs offer bright students the opportunity to engage in challenging academic work in the company of peers who share their exceptional abilities and love of learning. Note: Summer 2021 will be virtual. Check the website for more information.

Junior Achievement Business Week (Grades 9-12) - Business and leadership
JA Business Week is a unique program that allows students to explore leadership concepts and build confidence alongside Denver’s most dynamic and accomplished business leaders. In addition to interactive workshops on marketing, business ethics and budgeting, the week culminates in a “Shark Tank”-style competition. Students gain firsthand experience in teams to develop marketing and business concepts. Note: Summer 2021 has been cancelled. Check back in September for information about summer 2022.

Kent Denver Camps (Ages 3-18) - Summer at Kent Denver offers students a chance to explore their passions with more than 80 classes in the arts, athletics, technology, design and academics. Participants explore our and world-class facilities as they play, create, learn and thrive.

Kent Mountain Adventure (Ages 14-17) - Bring your crash pads and take your climbing skills to the next level and beyond. Students with prior climbing experience will have the opportunity to further develop and expand their climbing skills in extended climbing and bouldering sessions by climbing with one of the KMAC coaching guides.

Keystone Science School (Ages 5-17) - Experience the Rocky Mountains of Colorado through traditional overnight and day camps or the excitement and adventure of our traveling expeditions. The beautiful, 23-acre Keystone campus nestled in the mountains along the Continental Divide serves as base camp for creating lifelong friendships, exploring the natural world, and gaining leadership and wilderness skills.
 
Kidstage (Grades K-6) - Through the KidStage experience, students can develop an enhanced imagination, strengthen their creativity, and learn to take risks in a safe environment.  Parents have told us that after KidStage, their children exhibited an expanded vocabulary, higher reading scores in their school work, and much more confidence in conversations in groups as well as in a one-on-one setting.

Lighthouse Writer's Workshops (Ages 8-18) - Workshops are designed to be a place where writers can learn the craft, engage in productive discussion, and be inspired by others. 

MCA Denver (teens) - 
A space that celebrates risk-taking, exploration, and a home of sorts for teens––a place to discover through interactions with art and artists, and a place to connect with other teens whom to share experiences with and discover the art of their time. MCA Denver is free for anyone under 18.

Mad Science (Ages 5-12) - Offer a daily combination of in-class discovery, outdoor games, physical activities and hands-on applications of the scientific principles presented! From biology, forensics and astronomy to chemistry, physics, engineering and more, elementary-aged campers are invited to explore a wide range of exciting concepts.

Metropolitan State University of Denver (Grades 6-8) - Center for Advanced STEM Education Summer Science Institute.  Middle school students have the opportunity to explore fun applications of math and science in an exciting, hands-on, team-oriented atmosphere. Metropolitan State University faculty teach morning and afternoon classes based on Colorado content standards in an integrated setting. Students will be provided lunch each day, and a day-long field trip to Elitch Gardens to study physics will conclude each two-week camp.  Daily attendance is required. 

Metropolitan State University of Denver (Grades 9-12) - Center for Advanced STEM Education Summer Science Scholars program is geared toward minority youth and addresses their under-representation in choosing careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.  The Summer Science Scholars program will give students entering 10th through 12th grade the chance to explore biology and mathematics concepts in depth.  This program is designed to help facilitate these students getting into college. The classes are rigorous, and daily attendance is required. 

Montessori School of Denver (Ages 2-11) - Camps combine the best of Montessori School of Denver with adventure and fun. Diverse thinking, doing good in the world, and learning at full potential doesn’t end when summer comes.  Arts, culture, horticulture, STEAM and more.

Museum of Boulder (Ages 7-18) - Summer camps featuring DJs, Dia De Los Ninas and more. 

My Make Studio (Ages 9-15) - Learn cake constructing and DIY decorating including how to operate industrial kitchen equipment, how to make piping bags, how to mold fondant, and how to utilize a variety of sculpting tools. Kids will learn how to construct the cake they baked every step of the way - bake, level, fill, crumb coat, fondant and decorate. 
 
Noteable Kids Arts Center (Ages 3-15) - Art, literature, theater, science, space, LEGOs, coding, Minecraft, robotics and Curiosity Club camps. Locations at Denver Tech Center and Parker. Note: For summer 2021, camps are offered virtually.

Ocean First Institute Marine Science (Grades 3-8) - Unique ocean adventure camp run by marine biologist. Camps include Girls in Ocean Science, Marine Conservation, Ocean Science and Ocean Research & Technology. 

Outward Bound (Ages 14-18) - Colorado outdoor and leadership experiences for high school age and adults. Backpacking, mountaineering, rafting, outdoor education, climbing and programs for girls. 

PALS Summer Chess Camps (Ages K-12) - Students are divided into groups based on skill level. Time is divided equally between learning and playing. Camps include recess and exercise games, lunch and snacks, and prizes and recognition. Our lessons are full of humor, stories, and hands-on learning activities. Children who enjoy chess at a young age are likely to keep playing chess as a lifelong hobby. Our classes use play-based learning inspired by Lior’s time in theater production.

Plains Conservation Center (Ages 4-10) - Take a trip to Colorado’s high plains to experience life on the prairie then and now.  The Plains Conservation Center is a nature preserve and educational center with replicas of a homestead village and tipi camp that showcase pioneer and plains Native Americans life in the late 1800s. It encompasses over 1,100 acres of short grass prairie with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains.
 
PlayWell TEKnologies (Grades PreK-6) - The core engineering programs are our biggest “sandbox;” this is the safe space for kids to learn and discover the most through play. It’s about the process, not the result. Themed classes and camps explore imaginative worlds that kids already know and love, such as Star Wars or Ninjago. Programs include Intro to STEM and STEM Challenge. Advanced Engineering programs are designed for experienced students. 
 
Profoundly Gifted Retreat (PGR) (Grades K-12) - Summer retreat to bring profoundly gifted children and teenagers together for shared connections and community.  Although every child is unique and beautiful in his or her own way, profoundly gifted children often have a difficult time finding true peers within their day-to-day communities. Gatherings provide an opportunity to meet, learn and socialize with otherswho are developmentally advanced. 

Prove It! Math Academy (Grades 9-12) - A summer residential mathematics program in Fort Collins taught by experts. A unique, high-quality resource to help motivated, talented high school students reach their full potential.

Renaissance Adventures (Ages 6-17) - Day quests and overnight adventures. These adventures lead children and teens on an amazing journey, solving puzzles and riddles, writing mythic tales, exploring mythic realms, and swashbuckling with foes. 

Ricks Center Summer at Ricks (Grades PreK-6)  - Summer at Ricks blends fun summer activities with rich learning experiences. Campers entering preschool-8th grade will enjoy weekly themes and specialty camps ranging from Grossology to coding and more.

Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design (Grades 9-12) - RMCAD has high school programs that include workshops offered throughout the year and art camps during the summer months. Through year-round programs, you can access our talented faculty, experience college life, and prepare for your creative future.
 
Rocky Mountain Conservatory Theater (Ages 5-18) - Each student is guaranteed a part in the summer production, and auditions are done on day 1 of camp. A variety of shows will be performed this season.

Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids & Teens (Ages 5-16) - RMTK is the only local youth theatre company that provides professional theatre staff, 8:1 student-teacher ratio, professional performance venues, and a daily camp curriculum sculpted by 20+ years of experience.
 
Rocky Ridge Music Center (Ages 10-18+) - Our youth summer programs take place in the heart of Rocky Mountain National Park and vary in length from one to four weeks. All students will receive private lessons with our world-class faculty and play in chamber & large ensembles.

School of Rock (Ages 7-17) - Music camps and workshops for musicians of all skill levels who play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals.

School of the Poetic City (Ages 5-15) - Camps promote ideas through contemporary art practices, exploration of the city, and art making. They are intentionally mixed-age, for children 5 to 15 years old. This year’s camps include urban art camp and animation lab. Camps are based at St. Andrew’s Church, 2015 Glenarm Place, Denver.
 
Science Matters (Ages 6-12) - Great science projects; camp cheers; sing songs. After the morning project, campers play a game or engage in a critical thinking project followed by the second science project. We end each camp with a Group RAP (Review, Acknowledge, and Praise). Various locations in Denver.
 
Silicon STEM Academy (Ages 8-18) - Offered at several locations in the Denver area. Camps include Coding & Programming, Robotics & Engineering, Digital Media, Game Design, Chemistry and Experiments.

Snapology (ages 4-14) - STEAM camps using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex, robotics and technology. While kids are having fun with familiar toys, laptops and iPads, they have so much fun that they don’t even realize they’re learning. Create imaginative worlds and learn about  gear ratio, sensors, simple machines, gravity, aerodynamics, forces, motion, programming and much more.
 
SOAR Nature Camp Wyoming (Ages 8-24) - Accredited ADHD outdoor adventure summer camp, boarding school, and GAP year program serving youth and young adults with ADHD and other learning disabilities in Dubois, WY. Our outdoor adventure based programs provide academic instruction, experiential education, and life skills development for youth and young adults. 

Space Voyage (Ages 6-18) - Offers an intensive program of learning and confidence building within a space motif. Space Voyage brings to life the importance of math and science. The camp is designed so different age students focus on different program components. All programs are offered in all weeks so kids can come when it fits the family calendar for as many weeks as they wish. Internship leadership program for ages 16+.
 
SPREE Summer Urban Waterways (Grades 1-5) - Looking for a way to get your kids outside and active this summer while you are at work? SPREE (South Platte Environmental Education) has 10 weeks of camp at two locations. Each week has a unique theme tied to the South Platte River and urban waterways. Activities, games, and crafts are tied to the theme and allow campers to engage with and learn about their environment while having fun.  

St. Mary's Academy (Girls grades PreK-12) - Offers a variety of options, including leadership, theater, science, math and athletics designed to empower young women.

Steve & Kate’s Camp (Ages 4-12) - Many offerings
Whatever your child’s passion, they can push their limits at our camp. Stop-motion animation, fashion, coding, breadmaking, sports, music, dance, and so much more. Locations in Boulder and Denver.
 
Strategic Kids (Grades K-6) - Through fun and exciting methods, kids learn chess, LEGOs, magic and origami. Kids play games and to use play as a way to learn. From problem-solving through teamwork, patience through visualizing results, confidence through achievement and sportsmanship through defeat, games and the strategies behind them have a way of teaching these life skills while having fun and exercising the mind.
 
Studio Arts Boulder (Ages 6-16) - Studio Arts Boulder offers ceramics programs through the Boulder Pottery Lab, which was founded in 1954. The Lab provides educational programs to children and teens as well as people with disabilities. Lab staff and students also work to advance safe environmental practices in the arts, such as energy-efficiency, low-water use, and zero waste.

Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) (Ages 5-17) - This program of the National Society for the Gifted and Talented (NSGT) offers three-week academic summer camps for gifted and talented students.  The program combines academics with engaging social, cultural and recreational opportunities. Students can choose from many different campuses (all out of state) including Yale, Princeton and the University of Chicago.  Residential, commuter and day programs are available. 

Sunflower Art Studio (Ages 5-18) - Study impressionist masters, make jewelry, delve into African animals, draw botanicals, portraits and much more in a variety of media.


Swallow Hill Music (Ages 6-18) - Swallow Hill Music has been teaching kids, teens, and tweens since 1979, and what better way for them to delve into music than through one of their summer music camps! House of Rock ages 13-18, Belt It Out! ages 10-13, Explore! Music ages 6-9, and Bluegrass in Paradise ages 8-17. ​​

Talk to the Camera (Ages 3-14) - In Talk to the Camera, students embrace their on camera personalities, boost self-confidence, and become more effective communicators as they create their own news broadcast, talk show, or mini-movie.

Temple Grandin School (Grades 1-8) - 
TGS collaborates with other community-based organizations to provide summer programming on the TGS campus for adolescent students with Asperger’s or similar learning profiles. Although specific program criteria may vary, all summer experiences hosted or otherwise provided at TGS’ facility are generally appropriate for students with ASD who meet TGS admissions criteria, whether or not they are currently enrolled at TGS.

​The Craftsman & Apprentice (Ages 5-12) - Each camp theme encompasses our passion for all things related to human creativity and innovation. If there are two things that make us humans, it's our ability to invent and use tools. Ancestral skills camps teach kids to slow down and notice the world around them, to examine nature the way that our ancestors did. In our most popular camp, Toy Shop, campers learn real skills like woodworking and sewing while they invent and create their own toys. Also offered are sewing, fiber arts and cardboard carnival. In Denver City Park west.

The Flying School AeroCamp (Ages 13-15) - Students must be entering 8th grade for fall 2020 to enroll. AeroCamps are designed to give young people a unique opportunity to explore the vast and exciting world of aviation and aerospace at the Northern Colorado Regional Airport. Campers will have several ground school sessions including dynamics of flight and the basics of flight planning just to name a few. They will also have the opportunity to fly twice (weather permitting) in one of our aircraft with a licensed instructor. Advanced camp involves the planning and execution of a cross country flight to Lincoln, Nebraska. 

The Wonder Co. (Ages 5-10) - 
Each day, we work with campers to help them understand how artists open their minds to creative possibility through a variety of experiences. Every child has an opportunity to create, move, be inspired, engage in thinking about what’s possible, and be curious about the world around them.
 
Thorne Nature Experience (Ages 3-15) - Thorne Summer Camps in Boulder, Lafayette and Littleton connect youth to nature. Each summer, Thorne offers more than 150 camp experiences for youth to explore in nature and offer just the right mix of fun and hands-on learning. Parent-child experiences for ages 2-4.

Tinker Art Studio (Ages 3-16) - 
Over 50 half-day camps with options in a variety of mediums and themes. We offer 4-5 camps each week among our three studios and end the week with a Friday Art Show for friends and family,

Trackers Earth (Grades K-10) - Trackers Earth offers award-winning summer camps. Our day camps introduce your child to guided outdoor adventure, fantastic stories, and new friends.

Transportation and Construction Career Days for Girls  (Grades 8-Age 20) - Over one week, girls make five stops to engage with women, ask questions and tour work sites.  Each company puts together a day long insight into their company and into the industry. Deadline for applications is May 3.

University of Colorado Science Discovery (Grades K-8) - An experience-based educational outreach program of the University of Colorado in Boulder. CU Science Discovery offers a variety of hands-on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) camps.
 
University of Colorado STEM Academies (Grades 9-12) - Summer Discovery CU-Boulder helps you prepare for your transition from high school to college. Our pre-college program combines academics, athletics, and activities to give high school students a well-rounded introduction to college life.

University of Colorado STEM Research Experience (Grades 9-12) - An experience-based educational offered at both the CU Boulder campus and the CU Anschutz Medical Campus. Each summer, CU Science Discovery offers an extensive array of medically-focused programs at UC Denver’s Anschutz Medical Campus. High school students can choose from week-long classes and 4-week long STEM Research Experiences covering a variety of current CU science topics.
 
University of Colorado Summer Music Academy (Grades 6-12) - The Summer Music Academy at the University of Colorado Boulder College of Music is an exciting opportunity for high school and middle school musicians from Colorado and around the country to receive world-class instruction in a one-week summer session.

University of Northern Colorado Summer Enrichment Program (Grades 5-10) - Residential and day programs for youth who are gifted, talented and/or creative in a supportive academic and social setting. UNC offers a wide array of class choices. ​​Students come to SEP from approximately 25 states, provinces and foreign countries.

Walking Tree Travel/Smithsonian Student Adventures (Ages 14-18) - Our Mission is to inspire individuals to become global citizens by taking an active interest in the world around them. We achieve this goal by providing unforgettable travel programs filled with challenging and enriching adventures. Walking Tree stands for a more open, curious and compassionate approach to travel. We facilitate meaningful cross-cultural interactions that lead participants to recognize the similarities between people instead of focusing on the differences. Rather than a typical tour, our programs are designed for a proactive, select group of travelers who seek an authentic international experience and the opportunity to effect positive change in the global community.

Warren Tech summer programs (Grades 6-12) - STEM, graphic design, study skills, agriculture, computers, culinary arts, programs for girls and more. Programs will be hosted at Warren Tech Central, North, and Lakewood High School 

Wild Bear Mountain Ecology (Ages 3-16) - Wild Bear offers true nature experiences near Nederland, CO.  Venture out onto the surrounding Rocky Mountain forest, bring your camera and put on your water shoes to discover the water, the woods, and the mud. Enjoy field trips to the surrounding trails and forests to enjoy playing and learning about your own backyard.

Wings Over the Rockies (Ages 8-13) - At Air & Space Camp, kids are immersed in a week-long themed aerospace experience. Take a trip to Mars, fly drones and learn about deep space travel and more. Each camp is repeated twice throughout the summer and takes place at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum. ​ 

Women’s Wilderness programs for girls (Grades 3-12) - Girls’ courses are 1 to 10 days long. We offer financial aid for all girls’ courses. Activities include rock climbing, camping, backpacking, canoeing, art projects, team-building and leadership initiatives, fun and adventure! Our recipe of strong female instructors as role models, wild places away from phones, media, cliques, and school pressure, and a girl-positive approach, helps girls feel strong and great about who they are. All courses occur in an atmosphere that cultivates respect, inclusivity and collaboration.
 
Woodshop Wizards (Ages 5-18) - Students build the featured projects and then have the opportunity to choose from over 30 additional projects to build. If time permits, students will have a final day of building their own creatively designed project. If student has built a featured project in a previous camp they will build something different.

Worldmind School (Ages 3-12) - 
When you envision your children attending summer camp, this is what they will get at Worldmind. No sitting in front of the television or video game for hours. As one of the first outdoor-based schools in Colorado, Worldmind offers a unique combination of meaningful educational curriculum, creative outlets, and social engagement.

Young Americans Center for Financial Education (Grades 2-8) - Cool camps from Young Americans Bank in Denver, the only bank in the entire world specifically designed for young people ages 21 and younger. The mission of Young Americans Center for Financial Education is to further the economic education of young people so they will be competent and knowledgeable in managing their financial affairs and may prosper in the free enterprise system. 
 
Young Filmmakers Workshop (Ages 12-18) - Denver Film Society’s Young Filmmakers Workshops furnish their participants with opportunities to learn the art of cinema, collaborate with other young filmmakers, refine their work with industry professionals and exhibit their films in public premieres. 

Youth Journalism Day (Ages 8-14) - This is a one-day, intense and fun learning experience on June 25. Here’s a great chance for budding journalists, writers and photographers to spend the day with professionals learning about foundational journalism, asking good questions, headlines that draw readers, writing tips, and photojournalism.

Yunasa West in Colorado (Ages 10-15) - A weeklong camp experience for highly gifted youth. The mission of Yunasa is to teach campers techniques and skills for integrating the intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual and physical aspects of their lives. Yunasa is devoted to reminding bright young people that they are more than just intellect.  There is also a camp in Michigan. ​​
