New to the world of gifted and talented? Please join us for JAGC’s webinar “New to GT? What Families Need to Know” on Wednesday, Feb. 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. We will have a panel of JAGC board directors discussing a variety of topics that are of interest to parents of gifted children:

  • What does a GT child look like? Characteristics and intensities identified
  • ​What is an ALP and what do I do? Collaboration, goal setting and advocacy explored
  • Center program vs. neighborhood school–what’s the difference? Comparisons shared
  • Special issues facing GT children: perfectionism, executive functioning, LGBTQ+, motivation–Where can I learn more? Resources provided
